Privacy Policy

This policy covers ballotdata.net, run by BallotData LLC.

What we collect

• Customers: name, email, organization, what you bought and how it’s delivered (addresses and endpoints you give us), and billing records from Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
• Contact form and endorser submissions: what you type, plus your IP address and browser type, to answer you and stop abuse.
• Product-update sign-ups: your email address and when you confirmed it.
• Server logs: IP addresses and pages requested, kept for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To provide and bill for subscriptions, deliver data, answer messages, review endorsers’ submissions, and keep the site secure. We don’t sell personal information, and the data we sell is about endorsers’ public recommendations, not about our visitors.

Who processes it for us

Amazon Web Services (hosting), Stripe (payments), Brevo (email) and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot checks), each only to provide their service.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in to your account. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep for tax and accounting. California residents have these rights under the CCPA. Write to sales@ballotdata.net.
